The Orwell Prize site announces that it will launch publication of George Orwell's diaries on-line today.* Like the highly successful The Diary of Samuel Pepys, the Orwell diaries are to appear in daily blog format. In the meantime, Paul K. Lyons,"When DID Orwell start a diary?" The Diary Junction Blog, 29 July, has some questions about the project.
*There's some confusion as to the launch, because it's said to be in honor of the"70th anniversary" which the site says isn't until August 9. Hat tip.
