Yes, it was taken out of context, but so were Wright's comments – and some of the other comments associated with a certain other politician Kirchick waged a crusade over.

Indeed, McCain and Hagee's statements are far worse than what Wright has been attacked over.

Apparently, the normally "purist" Kirchick does not have a problem with a candidate who courts an Armageddon-loving minster (Hagee).
