Pat Buchanan scored for claiming white people built this country

[HNN Editor: Rick Perlstein ("Nixonland") directed our attention to a Buchanan Nixon White House memo turned up by Trevor Griffey. In the memo Buchanan says that the Nixon administration should favor Catholics in appointments to high office, including the Supreme Court.
